What is SBI PO Job Profile?

SBI PO is one of the most awaited jobs for those aspirants who are looking for a prestigious career option. SBI PO 2018 Exam will be notified shortly. There are some candidates who are not aware of the SBI PO Job Profile but they are aspiring for the same.

The selected candidate for PO’s post will be on a probation period of two years. After probation period their performance is reviewed and then he or she is confirmed as permanent employee. In the event of their outstanding performance during probation period they can be promoted to Scale II also.

SBI PO Job Profile

  1. During probation period of two years he or she will be given frequent trainings and transfers.
  2. The first posting will be on JMGS Scale I at different branches including Local Head Office, Regional Business office, SME Branch, General banking branch or Special Branches or Corporate Office or Zonal Offices or in specialized branches like Cheque Clearing, Pension Clearing etc. for specific durations as prescribed by the SBI.
  3. General Banking functioning and services
  4. Bringing new business in the branch such as loans, fixed deposits, etc.
  5. Any other assignment given by the bank from time to time.
  6. To solve the grievances of customers coming in the bank regarding the following:
  • Opening of new accounts
  • Issuing of ATM cards
  • Doing deposits
  • Loan Processing
  • Issuing cheque books etc
  1. Training is given with main focus on marketing and cross selling because it is the major part of banking.
