State Bank of India conducts Common Written Examination to employ the staff for bank at various posts such as SBI PO, SBI CLERK and SBI SO. Most of the candidates are aware of the duties and job profile of PO and clerks but they do not know much about the Specialist Officers post and the duties and responsibilities. This is an officer cadre job and the department is allotted according to the degree and the qualification that one has acquired. 4 LAW OFFICER To Look into the current policies and find the  errors, if any.
To Draft legal notice and documents for various processes of the Bank.
To Provide Legal Assistance for issues related bank frauds, accusations, etc.
To Safeguard the reliability and reputation of the Bank.
5 AGRICULTURAL FIELD OFFICER To Provide detailed information to  the customers  regarding various banking processes and schemes.
To Explain government related schemes and benefits plan to the people.
To Promote loans of all the people who fulfill the criteria and norms of the bank.

6 RAJBHASHA ADHIKARI To Translate and Proofread  the significant documents that are circulated in the Bank. These documents can be internal or outbound. It is the duty of Rajbhasha Adhikari to complete this task professionally.
To Organize workshops for training bank personnel in the language that is spoken by most of the customers.
Rajbhasha Adhikari officers have to make sure that the official notifications and directives send between the banking government organizations must be in both Hindi and English Language
